The above video looks like something out of a James Bond film — one half expects Daniel Craig to parachute down to the A380 jet flying right below the hovering helicopter from which the jet was filmed. And it’s all framed above Dubai’s turquoise waters and white-sand beaches to make the scene even more epic.
Emirates was flying the world’s largest passenger plane for the purpose of filming promo videos, The Telegraph reports (and an Emirates spokesperson confirmed to Road Warrior Voices). The helicopter from which this video was captured was part of the whole film production, but someone on board found the plane zooming right below so cool they had to record it on their phone.
And who can blame them? This is the kind of thing that makes an aviation geek out of anyone.
